2 Corinthians 12:8-9

My view from "The Chair" this morning (2 Corinthians 12:8,9). Do you trust that your "thorn" allows His grace and power to best be displayed in your story and thus bring hope to others? Maybe instead of pleading for it to be removed, I should ask for the ability to hold onto Him and allow His grace and power to be displayed.

Isaiah 43:1-2

My view from "The Chair" this morning (Isaiah 43:1,2). Does life seem overwhelming and like the trials just keep coming? Write these verses on your hand and repeat them over and over until they seep into the marrow of your soul. Many ask, how do I keep going? Here is what I hold onto with everything I've got. These difficulties have often left me gasping for breath, but He has never abandoned me. They have changed me on a core level and taught me so much. He is our Father and you can trust His untangled view of your journey.

Psalms 27:8

My view from "The Chair" this morning (Psalms 27:8). Do you hear Him inviting you to come? He is waiting and longs to hear your voice.

Ephesians 2:10

My view from "The Chair" this morning (Eph. 2:10). Wow! Savor the term "masterpiece". Do you think of yourself as a beautiful work? He does. He constructed each of us with perfect precision to do some important work for Him. That would be to love Him and those He puts in front of us. How are you doing this today?

Psalms 116:1-2

My view from "The Chair" this morning (Psalms 116:1,2). In my distress and desperation, I know He hears me and can be counted on to pour out His mercy and grace according to His untangled view.

1 Kings 17:5-6

My view from "The Chair" this morning (1 Kings 17:5,6). Elijah was obedient and the Lord sent the ravens to bring him food. Maybe He wants us to be like the ravens. Will I allow Him to use my possessions; money; time; and talents to tend to the widow, orphans, and those He sends me to?

Proverbs 4:23

My view from "The Chair" this morning (Proverbs 4:23). What I allow to take up residency in my head will affect my heart and thus the path my life takes.

Acts 3:12

My view from "The Chair" this morning. Acts 3:12. May I see the "opportunities" God is putting in front of me today to be His hands and feet to those around me. How about you? May you also "see" and be moved to action as you journey through today.

Matthew 9:12-13

My view from "The Chair" this morning (Matt 9:12,13). What would our lives look like if every time I want to offer a sacrifice, I went and offered one of my offenders mercy instead? Boy, lots to think about this morning. Truly authentic, heartfelt mercy offered to your offender levels the ground.

1 Corinthians 12:7

My view from "The Chair" this morning (1 Cor. 12:7). What gift did He give you and how are you using it to help others? This is not optional, it's how He asked us to live.

Psalms 146:3

My view from "The Chair" this morning (Ps. 146:3). Only God can shut the mouths of lions; make the sun stand still; and use a rock to bring down a giant. He is our ONLY help regardless of how powerful you think others are.

Joshua 5:14

My view from "The Chair" (Joshua 5:14). I love Joshua's response. May I choose to respond like this when He makes a request of me.

Psalms 103:2

My view from "The Chair" (Psalms 103:2). The key here is to "Remember". Will you share with me a good thing He has done for you?
